A leading US Hedge Fund are looking to make a newly created, senior trade support / operations hire.
My client are a prestigious, award-winning hedge fund who have consistently been one of the leading performers in the global hedge fund space over the past decade. The firm look after its staff incredibly well, in terms of working environment, progression and pay – they pride themselves on having rock-bottom attrition.
My client are looking to make a trade support manager hire specific to its rapidly expanding fixed income / rates business. The role reports directly into the HOO, providing direct support to him, overseeing junior team members, taking on a critical mandate of managing / driving major projects + being the ‘go-to-person’ for the New York fixed income investment team on any live matters. Please note that despite the seniority, this is still a hands on role running core trade support, corporate actions, product control & treasury operations tasks. The firm operate in a high-volume environment, dedicated to continuous process improvement - team members use & develop advanced technical skills in SQL, Python & VBA on a daily basis, as will the new trade support manager hire.
As the firm look to build its business overseas, the hire will have the opportunity to get involved in global projects, working alongside senior management with the focus on new markets / geographies.
Candidates should have 5-10yrs hedge fund operations / trade support experience. My client looks for candidates that have strong academic profiles. Programming skills are a pre-requisite.
The role will pay a $300-400k year-one total compensation package. My client can offer a sign-on bonus and/or guarantee minimum bonus for this year to ensure that no hire loses out financially by moving mid-year. The firm also provide an excellent benefits package.
